About Islamabad United
Islamabad United set the standard early. They won the first PSL final in Dubai in 2016, added a second title in Karachi in 2018, and lifted a third trophy in 2024 to draw level as the league's most successful side. The franchise built its identity on data-led selection and calm late-order hitting, and even in the expanded eight-team era of PSL 11 they stayed in the top two of the league stage, finishing second with 13 points and a strong net run rate of +1.667.
Founded in 2015 as one of the five original PSL franchises, owned by Leonine Global Sports.
