About Devon Conway
Standing up to the medium pacers, taking the spinners on the turn, then walking out to face the new ball — no role in the side asks for a wider range in a single evening.
Coaches who have worked with players from the global T20 franchise circuit, where short contracts reward players who adapt in days, not weeks tend to say the same thing — match awareness — reading a chase, a pitch, a bowler's plan — tends to run ahead of raw numbers.
Selection logic at Islamabad United starts with balance, and Shadab Khan's sides usually reflect it: the bowling attack is rotated by venue more than by reputation.

Ask the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium crowd what they expect and the answer is rarely subtle. Islamabad United players feel that expectation most on the nights the season tilts.
Devon Conway and PSL 12
PSL 12 stretches from 18 March to 2 May 2027, and the calendar hands Islamabad United early tests against Peshawar Zalmi and Rawalpindiz once the fixture list lands. Form in the National T20 pathway events also matters now, with the PCB using them as a talent-identification route into the auction.
