As Rawalpindiz rebuilt through the first-ever PSL auction, Yasir Khan became part of a squad that wrapped up the campaign in eighth place with 0 points on the board. The season never matched the auction-day ambition in Rawalpindi.
About Yasir Khan
Depth wins long tournaments. A 44-match season with travel between up to six venues tests every name on the roster, and squad players who stay ready tend to decide at least one match each season.
Coaches who have worked with players from Pakistan's domestic circuit, where the National T20 and first-class grind still shape most PSL careers tend to say the same thing — versatility is the calling card: roles shift, standards do not.
Selection logic at Rawalpindiz starts with balance, and Mohammad Rizwan's sides usually reflect it: the bowling attack is rotated by venue more than by reputation.

Why some lines say PENDING: this guide refuses to estimate career numbers. If the PCB, ESPNcricinfo, Wisden or a checked record list has not published it, the line waits.
Evening games at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium have a particular rhythm — heat early, dew late — and Rawalpindiz's planning all season bends around it.
Yasir Khan and PSL 12
The season's shape — ten league matches, a four-team playoff squeeze — means slow starts are punished harder than ever; Rawalpindiz's early fixtures, with sides like Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United in the rotation, will set the tone. What to watch is how the captain uses this player when the match tightens — those overs and those batting positions tell you the real pecking order.
