Saad Masood — the full profile
The jump from squad member to regular is the PSL's quiet storyline every season. It usually starts with one opportunity nobody planned — and a player who had clearly been waiting for exactly that.
Coaches who have worked with players from the domestic one-day and T20 circuit in Pakistan, a route that rewards patience as much as talent tend to say the same thing — preparation is treated as part of performance, not a warm-up for it.
Inside the Rawalpindiz XI, the fit is shaped by Mohammad Rizwan's habits: the top order is given licence early and accountability late.

Why some lines say PENDING: this guide refuses to estimate career numbers. If the PCB, ESPNcricinfo, Wisden or a checked record list has not published it, the line waits.
The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium factor is real in this league: local knowledge of bounce, dew and boundary sizes is worth runs before a ball is bowled, and Rawalpindiz lean on it at home.
Saad Masood and PSL 12
With five to six venues in the PSL 12 plan, adaptability becomes a selection criterion in itself — the Rawalpindiz staff will weigh it before the opener against opponents such as Hyderabad Kingsmen or Islamabad United. Form in the National T20 pathway events also matters now, with the PCB using them as a talent-identification route into the auction.
