Batter · Rawalpindiz · PSL 11 squad (2026), updated for the road to PSL 12
View the Rawalpindiz squad → PSL 2027 fixtures →
The Rawalpindiz dressing room for PSL 11 mixed senior internationals with emerging names, and Daryl Mitchell was one of the players who ended the season in eighth place on 0 points. The season never matched the auction-day ambition in Rawalpindi.
Daryl Mitchell profile
Daryl Mitchell was the most expensive overseas player at the PSL 11 auction, signed by Rawalpindiz for PKR 8.05 crore.
Modern PSL batting is match-up driven, and a specialist batter lives or dies by them: the wrong spinner at the wrong end can end an innings before it starts. Flexibility — opening one week, finishing the next — is part of the job description.
Coaches who have worked with players from county and franchise cricket across several leagues, a route that hardens players to unfamiliar conditions quickly tend to say the same thing — preparation is treated as part of performance, not a warm-up for it.
How Mohammad Rizwan builds an innings decides where this player lands in the order of things: spin is trusted through the middle overs even on true surfaces.

Daryl Mitchell and PSL 12
Neutral fans should circle Rawalpindiz's fixtures against Peshawar Zalmi: those are the games where selection gambles get exposed, and where squad depth stops being a theory. Keep an eye on match-ups: PSL captains are ruthless about exploiting one weak over or one favourable boundary size.
