The Rawalpindiz dressing room for PSL 11 mixed senior internationals with emerging names, and Mohammad Rizwan was one of the players who finished the league stage in eighth place with 0 points. The season never matched the auction-day ambition in Rawalpindi.
About Mohammad Rizwan
Mohammad Rizwan leads all wicketkeepers in PSL history with 84 dismissals through the 2025 season, alongside more than 2,700 career runs in the league.
Standing up to the medium pacers, taking the spinners on the turn, then walking out to face the new ball — no role in the side asks for a wider range in a single evening.
Coaches who have worked with players from the domestic one-day and T20 circuit in Pakistan, a route that rewards patience as much as talent tend to say the same thing — preparation is treated as part of performance, not a warm-up for it.
Selection logic at Rawalpindiz starts with balance, and Mohammad Rizwan's sides usually reflect it: pace is held back for the death wherever possible.

Why some lines say PENDING: this guide refuses to estimate career numbers. If the PCB, ESPNcricinfo, Wisden or a checked record list has not published it, the line waits.
There is a home-ground education every Rawalpindiz player absorbs — Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium rewards some habits and punishes others, and the learning curve is part of the season.
Mohammad Rizwan and PSL 12
The season's shape — ten league matches, a four-team playoff squeeze — means slow starts are punished harder than ever; Rawalpindiz's early fixtures, with sides like Hyderabad Kingsmen and Islamabad United in the rotation, will set the tone. The telling stat will not be the headline one. It will be performance in the phase this player is actually bought for — and whether it survives contact with the playoffs.
