The Rawalpindiz dressing room for PSL 11 mixed senior internationals with emerging names, and Kamran Ghulam was one of the players who wrapped up the campaign in eighth place with 0 points on the board. The season never matched the auction-day ambition in Rawalpindi.
About Kamran Ghulam
Coaches describe this role as the team's spare wheel and engine in one. When injuries hit a long season, the all-rounder's workload quietly doubles, and squads are judged on how well they planned for exactly that.
The road here ran through the domestic one-day and T20 circuit in Pakistan, a route that rewards patience as much as talent, and it shows in the way the role is played: versatility is the calling card: roles shift, standards do not.
Selection logic at Rawalpindiz starts with balance, and Mohammad Rizwan's sides usually reflect it: the bowling attack is rotated by venue more than by reputation.

A note on sources: figures on this page come from the PCB, the official league site, ESPNcricinfo, Wisden or cross-checked record lists. Lines without a traced source stay PENDING on purpose.
Travel changes the equation too. A squad based around Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium still has to win in Karachi, Lahore or wherever the fixture list sends them, and away points decided the playoff line last season.
Kamran Ghulam and PSL 12
A title defence, a rebuild, a point to prove — every franchise carries a label into PSL 12. For Rawalpindiz, the label matters less than the first fortnight, when Lahore Qalandars-calibre opposition usually exposes weak combinations. Form in the National T20 pathway events also matters now, with the PCB using them as a talent-identification route into the auction.
