The Rawalpindiz dressing room for PSL 11 mixed senior internationals with emerging names, and Cole McConchie was one of the players who banked 0 points and a eighth-place finish across ten league matches. The season never matched the auction-day ambition in Rawalpindi.
About Cole McConchie
The all-round role is the squad's insurance policy: runs from the lower middle order, overs when a frontline bowler is targeted, and athletic fielding. Teams that win PSL titles usually have two or three players doing exactly this job.
There is a pattern to players who arrive via county and franchise cricket across several leagues, a route that hardens players to unfamiliar conditions quickly. They tend to be tactically literate early, and in this case versatility is the calling card: roles shift, standards do not.
Selection logic at Rawalpindiz starts with balance, and Mohammad Rizwan's sides usually reflect it: the top order is given licence early and accountability late.

Why some lines say PENDING: this guide refuses to estimate career numbers. If the PCB, ESPNcricinfo, Wisden or a checked record list has not published it, the line waits.
There is a home-ground education every Rawalpindiz player absorbs — Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium rewards some habits and punishes others, and the learning curve is part of the season.
Cole McConchie and PSL 12
Between the 23 January auction and the 18 March opener there are barely seven weeks to turn a squad list into a team. Rawalpindiz's pre-season will be judged on exactly that conversion. The honest measure will be the big moments — a qualifier, a chase under lights, a final over. That is where squad reputations in this league are made.
