The Peshawar Zalmi dressing room for PSL 11 mixed senior internationals with emerging names, and Brian Bennett was one of the players who banked 1 points and a first-place finish across ten league matches. Zalmi then converted that dominance into the title, beating Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final.
Brian Bennett profile
The batting brief here is about tempo. On true PSL surfaces a set batter is expected to keep the board moving at nine an over without slogging, saving the big swing for the match-ups the analysts have circled.
What stands out on the training ground is consistency of method, the product of a development path through the global T20 franchise circuit, where short contracts reward players who adapt in days, not weeks: preparation is treated as part of performance, not a warm-up for it.
Selection logic at Peshawar Zalmi starts with balance, and Babar Azam's sides usually reflect it: youth is backed in clusters rather than one experiment at a time.

Why some lines say PENDING: this guide refuses to estimate career numbers. If the PCB, ESPNcricinfo, Wisden or a checked record list has not published it, the line waits.
Ask the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar crowd what they expect and the answer is rarely subtle. Peshawar Zalmi players feel that expectation most on the nights the season tilts.
Brian Bennett and PSL 12
With five to six venues in the PSL 12 plan, adaptability becomes a selection criterion in itself — the Peshawar Zalmi staff will weigh it before the opener against opponents such as Rawalpindiz or Quetta Gladiators. Form in the National T20 pathway events also matters now, with the PCB using them as a talent-identification route into the auction.
