Michael Bracewell goes into the PSL 12 build-up as part of a Peshawar Zalmi squad that closed the league stage in first place, collecting 1 points along the way. Zalmi then converted that dominance into the title, beating Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final.
About Michael Bracewell
The numbers rarely tell the whole story here. A 15-ball twenty and one tight over in a qualifier can outweigh a month of steady returns, which is why all-rounders are judged on moments as much as averages.
The road here ran through a career built across domestic cricket at home and franchise stops abroad, the modern T20 professional's map, and it shows in the way the role is played: the workload is managed like a senior professional's, whatever the birth certificate says.
Inside the Peshawar Zalmi XI, the fit is shaped by Babar Azam's habits: match-ups are hunted aggressively, even at the cost of a settled XI.

Home fixtures bring their own texture: Peshawar Zalmi play out of Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar, and regulars there know how conditions shift between a fresh pitch in week one and a worn one by the playoffs.
Michael Bracewell and PSL 12
With five to six venues in the PSL 12 plan, adaptability becomes a selection criterion in itself — the Peshawar Zalmi staff will weigh it before the opener against opponents such as Lahore Qalandars or Karachi Kings. Keep an eye on match-ups: PSL captains are ruthless about exploiting one weak over or one favourable boundary size.
