Few squads were talked about as much as Peshawar Zalmi before PSL 11, and Aamir Jamal was right in the middle of it as the group finished the league stage in first place with 1 points. Zalmi then converted that dominance into the title, beating Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final.
About Aamir Jamal
The numbers rarely tell the whole story here. A 15-ball twenty and one tight over in a qualifier can outweigh a month of steady returns, which is why all-rounders are judged on moments as much as averages.
Coaches who have worked with players from franchise and domestic cricket inside Pakistan, where a single strong season can redraw a career tend to say the same thing — the workload is managed like a senior professional's, whatever the birth certificate says.
Selection logic at Peshawar Zalmi starts with balance, and Babar Azam's sides usually reflect it: the top order is given licence early and accountability late.

How to read the PENDING lines: a statistic appears here only when it traces back to the PCB, the league site, ESPNcricinfo, Wisden or a cross-checked record list. Anything else stays marked PENDING — a gap beats a guess.
The Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar factor is real in this league: local knowledge of bounce, dew and boundary sizes is worth runs before a ball is bowled, and Peshawar Zalmi lean on it at home.
Aamir Jamal and PSL 12
PSL 12 stretches from 18 March to 2 May 2027, and the calendar hands Peshawar Zalmi early tests against Quetta Gladiators and Rawalpindiz once the fixture list lands. Keep an eye on match-ups: PSL captains are ruthless about exploiting one weak over or one favourable boundary size.
