The Peshawar Zalmi dressing room for PSL 11 mixed senior internationals with emerging names, and Sufyan Moqim was one of the players who wrapped up the campaign in first place with 1 points on the board. Zalmi then converted that dominance into the title, beating Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final.
Sufyan Moqim — the full profile
Sufyan Moqim was named Player of the Tournament for PSL 11 (2026) after taking 22 wickets — the most in the season — for champions Peshawar Zalmi.
Death bowling is a separate skill in this competition, practised like a trade. The bowlers who own the final four overs get retained; the ones who leak there get auctioned. Every spell in that phase is an audition.
Coaches who have worked with players from the domestic one-day and T20 circuit in Pakistan, a route that rewards patience as much as talent tend to say the same thing — match awareness — reading a chase, a pitch, a bowler's plan — tends to run ahead of raw numbers.
How Babar Azam builds an innings decides where this player lands in the order of things: the top order is given licence early and accountability late.

Evening games at Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar have a particular rhythm — heat early, dew late — and Peshawar Zalmi's planning all season bends around it.
Sufyan Moqim and PSL 12
The season's shape — ten league matches, a four-team playoff squeeze — means slow starts are punished harder than ever; Peshawar Zalmi's early fixtures, with sides like Rawalpindiz and Lahore Qalandars in the rotation, will set the tone. The honest measure will be the big moments — a qualifier, a chase under lights, a final over. That is where squad reputations in this league are made.
