There was no quiet way into PSL 11 for Rawalpindiz: a new auction, a new structure, and Rishad Hossain inside a squad that ended the season in eighth place on 0 points. The season never matched the auction-day ambition in Rawalpindi.
About Rishad Hossain
Bowling in the PSL is a pressure trade. The wickets are usually true, the boundaries reachable, and captains expect wickets in the powerplay and control at the death. Specialists in this role live on small margins: one good over can flip a chase.
Coaches who have worked with players from county and franchise cricket across several leagues, a route that hardens players to unfamiliar conditions quickly tend to say the same thing — match awareness — reading a chase, a pitch, a bowler's plan — tends to run ahead of raw numbers.
Inside the Rawalpindiz XI, the fit is shaped by Mohammad Rizwan's habits: youth is backed in clusters rather than one experiment at a time.

Why some lines say PENDING: this guide refuses to estimate career numbers. If the PCB, ESPNcricinfo, Wisden or a checked record list has not published it, the line waits.
The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium factor is real in this league: local knowledge of bounce, dew and boundary sizes is worth runs before a ball is bowled, and Rawalpindiz lean on it at home.
Rishad Hossain and PSL 12
Between the 23 January auction and the 18 March opener there are barely seven weeks to turn a squad list into a team. Rawalpindiz's pre-season will be judged on exactly that conversion. Watch the first selection of the season closely. Game-one XIs are the most honest documents in franchise cricket — everything after is adjustment.
