Moeen Ali profile
Franchises hunt this profile at auction for a reason: one player covering two selection problems is worth more than the sum of the two halves. The bidding wars at the first auction started here.
What stands out on the training ground is consistency of method, the product of a development path through county and franchise cricket across several leagues, a route that hardens players to unfamiliar conditions quickly: the workload is managed like a senior professional's, whatever the birth certificate says.
How David Warner builds an innings decides where this player lands in the order of things: the bowling attack is rotated by venue more than by reputation.

Why some lines say PENDING: this guide refuses to estimate career numbers. If the PCB, ESPNcricinfo, Wisden or a checked record list has not published it, the line waits.
The National Bank Stadium, Karachi factor is real in this league: local knowledge of bounce, dew and boundary sizes is worth runs before a ball is bowled, and Karachi Kings lean on it at home.
Moeen Ali and PSL 12
Neutral fans should circle Karachi Kings's fixtures against Quetta Gladiators: those are the games where selection gambles get exposed, and where squad depth stops being a theory. What to watch is how the captain uses this player when the match tightens — those overs and those batting positions tell you the real pecking order.
