There was no quiet way into PSL 11 for Hyderabad Kingsmen: a new auction, a new structure, and Hunain Shah inside a squad that finished the league stage in fourth place with 0 points. The Kingsmen then stormed through both Eliminators to reach a debut final.
Hunain Shah profile
Hunain Shah finished PSL 11 with 17 wickets for Hyderabad Kingsmen and was named in the PCB's Team of the Tournament.
Powerplay wickets are the currency captains trust most. A bowler who can swing the new ball or skid it through before the field spreads changes how the whole innings is paced — and how the opposition plans its chase.
What stands out on the training ground is consistency of method, the product of a development path through Pakistan's domestic circuit, where the National T20 and first-class grind still shape most PSL careers: preparation is treated as part of performance, not a warm-up for it.
How Marnus Labuschagne builds an innings decides where this player lands in the order of things: match-ups are hunted aggressively, even at the cost of a settled XI.

Hunain Shah and PSL 12
Between the 23 January auction and the 18 March opener there are barely seven weeks to turn a squad list into a team. Hyderabad Kingsmen's pre-season will be judged on exactly that conversion.
