Few squads were talked about as much as Quetta Gladiators before PSL 11, and Bevon Jacobs was right in the middle of it as the group wrapped up the campaign in seventh place with 0 points on the board. It was a season of transition for the Gladiators.
About Bevon Jacobs
The jump from squad member to regular is the PSL's quiet storyline every season. It usually starts with one opportunity nobody planned — and a player who had clearly been waiting for exactly that.
Coaches who have worked with players from a career built across domestic cricket at home and franchise stops abroad, the modern T20 professional's map tend to say the same thing — versatility is the calling card: roles shift, standards do not.
How Saud Shakeel builds an innings decides where this player lands in the order of things: the top order is given licence early and accountability late.

The Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore (home fixtures) factor is real in this league: local knowledge of bounce, dew and boundary sizes is worth runs before a ball is bowled, and Quetta Gladiators lean on it at home.
Bevon Jacobs and PSL 12
Neutral fans should circle Quetta Gladiators's fixtures against Islamabad United: those are the games where selection gambles get exposed, and where squad depth stops being a theory. What to watch is how the captain uses this player when the match tightens — those overs and those batting positions tell you the real pecking order.
