Adam Zampa profile
A specialist bowler's value shows in the overs nobody wants — the last two of an innings, or a powerplay against set openers. Economy in those phases, not just the wicket column, decides whether a bowler keeps this role.
There is a pattern to players who arrive via a career built across domestic cricket at home and franchise stops abroad, the modern T20 professional's map. They tend to be tactically literate early, and in this case versatility is the calling card: roles shift, standards do not.
Selection logic at Karachi Kings starts with balance, and David Warner's sides usually reflect it: spin is trusted through the middle overs even on true surfaces.

There is a home-ground education every Karachi Kings player absorbs — National Bank Stadium, Karachi rewards some habits and punishes others, and the learning curve is part of the season.
Adam Zampa and PSL 12
Between the 23 January auction and the 18 March opener there are barely seven weeks to turn a squad list into a team. Karachi Kings's pre-season will be judged on exactly that conversion. Keep an eye on match-ups: PSL captains are ruthless about exploiting one weak over or one favourable boundary size.
