The Peshawar Zalmi dressing room for PSL 11 mixed senior internationals with emerging names, and Abdul Subhan was one of the players who closed the league stage in first place, collecting 1 points along the way. Zalmi then converted that dominance into the title, beating Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final.
Abdul Subhan — the full profile
Auction squads are built in layers, and this layer matters more than outsiders think. When the first XI is set, these are the players competing to be the injury cover, the match-up pick, the final-over gamble.
What stands out on the training ground is consistency of method, the product of a development path through Pakistan's domestic circuit, where the National T20 and first-class grind still shape most PSL careers: match awareness — reading a chase, a pitch, a bowler's plan — tends to run ahead of raw numbers.
How Babar Azam builds an innings decides where this player lands in the order of things: youth is backed in clusters rather than one experiment at a time.

Why some lines say PENDING: this guide refuses to estimate career numbers. If the PCB, ESPNcricinfo, Wisden or a checked record list has not published it, the line waits.
Evening games at Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar have a particular rhythm — heat early, dew late — and Peshawar Zalmi's planning all season bends around it.
Abdul Subhan and PSL 12
A title defence, a rebuild, a point to prove — every franchise carries a label into PSL 12. For Peshawar Zalmi, the label matters less than the first fortnight, when Multan Sultans-calibre opposition usually exposes weak combinations. What to watch is how the captain uses this player when the match tightens — those overs and those batting positions tell you the real pecking order.
