Mohammad Hamza Sohail — the full profile
The jump from squad member to regular is the PSL's quiet storyline every season. It usually starts with one opportunity nobody planned — and a player who had clearly been waiting for exactly that.
The road here ran through the domestic one-day and T20 circuit in Pakistan, a route that rewards patience as much as talent, and it shows in the way the role is played: the basics are protected under pressure, even when the match demands improvisation.
How David Warner builds an innings decides where this player lands in the order of things: the bowling attack is rotated by venue more than by reputation.

Why some lines say PENDING: this guide refuses to estimate career numbers. If the PCB, ESPNcricinfo, Wisden or a checked record list has not published it, the line waits.
Home fixtures bring their own texture: Karachi Kings play out of National Bank Stadium, Karachi, and regulars there know how conditions shift between a fresh pitch in week one and a worn one by the playoffs.
Mohammad Hamza Sohail and PSL 12
Between the 23 January auction and the 18 March opener there are barely seven weeks to turn a squad list into a team. Karachi Kings's pre-season will be judged on exactly that conversion. Watch the first selection of the season closely. Game-one XIs are the most honest documents in franchise cricket — everything after is adjustment.
