About Delano Potgieter
The numbers rarely tell the whole story here. A 15-ball twenty and one tight over in a qualifier can outweigh a month of steady returns, which is why all-rounders are judged on moments as much as averages.
Coaches who have worked with players from the global T20 franchise circuit, where short contracts reward players who adapt in days, not weeks tend to say the same thing — the basics are protected under pressure, even when the match demands improvisation.
Inside the Multan Sultans XI, the fit is shaped by Ashton Turner's habits: the top order is given licence early and accountability late.
