About Atizaz Habib Khan
Auction squads are built in layers, and this layer matters more than outsiders think. When the first XI is set, these are the players competing to be the injury cover, the match-up pick, the final-over gamble.
What stands out on the training ground is consistency of method, the product of a development path through Pakistan's domestic circuit, where the National T20 and first-class grind still shape most PSL careers: the workload is managed like a senior professional's, whatever the birth certificate says.
Inside the Multan Sultans XI, the fit is shaped by Ashton Turner's habits: match-ups are hunted aggressively, even at the cost of a settled XI.

Evening games at Multan Cricket Stadium have a particular rhythm — heat early, dew late — and Multan Sultans's planning all season bends around it.
Atizaz Habib Khan and PSL 12
The season's shape — ten league matches, a four-team playoff squeeze — means slow starts are punished harder than ever; Multan Sultans's early fixtures, with sides like Peshawar Zalmi and Hyderabad Kingsmen in the rotation, will set the tone. Form in the National T20 pathway events also matters now, with the PCB using them as a talent-identification route into the auction.
